Luther's been very ill - he had, I think, a kidney transplant about a year ago.

Jamo Thomas' version was the one played in my neck of the woods; didn't hear Luther's rendition, which I believe was the original, until the Internet. If Luther's name wasn't on the record you'll never know it was him, he sounds completely different on that than he did on his Stax/KoKo recordings.
