I have been trying unsuccessfully to find out the name and artist of a great funk 45 from the 70s. The only clue I have is that the basic guitar/bass hook riff and overall song structure was "recreated" (borrowed or ripped off) by the Ohio Players for their song "Skintight." Anybody know the name of the original?
