This dude had a single on Vando "I can't stand to see you cry"/"Fountain of love". Both sides were writ./prod./arr./cond. by our beloved Van McCoy. Engr. by Bill Szymcyk. Wasn't there a Szymck who used to hang around Muscle Shoals?

Anymore info on Art Robins? Vando was distributed by Cameo Parkway.

The Szymczyk you're thinking of was a big name
producer in the seventies - he worked on the Eagles' albums. He started out as an engineer in
New York and then worked as a staff producer for
ABC where he worked on albums by B B King, the
James Gang, Joe Walsh and others.

He never worked at Muscle Shoals to my knowledge.

Art Robins seems to be one of those hundreds of singers who got one single released then disappeared.
