Hi john c!
Open the thread, under:
Where is Maxine Brown... and, where's Jimmy Ruffin?
Man, was that really Jimmy Ruffin?
I guess, only time will really tell!

I am sure it was. I could be wrong, but that post has his style written all over it. I may live in London, but not down Baker Street (or smoke a pipe), but the evidence suggests it was. What an honour! Please come back JR, you will not regret it!

Fayette: Look under "where's maxine brown...where's Jimmy Ruffin" thread. You were so lucky to have met David. May I ask how did you get the opportunity to meet him? I didn't know you were a David fan too! :o)
Peace!

Like I posted in the other thread, a hardy welcome to Mr. Ruffin. I hope he will come back sometime in the near future. BTW, his birthday is May 7th, so hopefully he'll be back then so we could wish a happy birthday.
Peace!

i meet david at a club in atlanta called "THE BLUE SHADOW",
i wanted to send him some things
i wrote, and asked him how could i get them
to him, he gave me address and said he's be glad
to see them. eddie was there too, but he
stayed mostly in the dressing room and didn't
really mingle in the crowd. after that
(i'm a outgoing person,really a ham). i sat
on the edge of the stage and was song to.
i felt like i was in hog heaven. but he
was a very mannerable and just nice man.
didn't feel like a star,but a fantastic human
being.
