FOR THE RHYTHM & BLUES FOUNDATION in
LOS ANGELES at The Mint on SUNDAY, MAY 18.

Artists performing include CHARLES CHEMERY,
LEATTA GALLOWAY, BRENDA HOLLOWAY,
THELMA JONES, EVELYN 'CHAMPAGNE' KING,
RONALD MULDROW, DAVID NATHAN, FREDA PAYNE,
THE SWEET INSPIRATIONS, JEAN TERRELL,
JODY WATLEY and KIM WESTON.

Each performer will be singing a song in tribute
to Philadelphia soul music. CLAUDETTE ROBINSON
is the host and there's a free buffet included in the
tax-deductible price of $40.00. There will also
be a VIP post event reception and although all
the artists will not be available due to previous
engagements, most of our soulful musical
contributors will be on hand. Ticket price for
the buffet, show and VIP reception are $60.00
each; and Amoeba Records is also providing
product for sale by many of the artists so if
you attend the after-event, you can get the
LP, 45 or CD you purchase signed.

All the proceeds from this wonderful event �
co-hosted by Rob Pau of The Mint and Steve Ross,
with thanks to Janine Coveney and A. Scott Galloway �
will go to The Rhythm & Blues Foundation

501.charity whose mission is to provide financial
assistance and support for R&B artists of the
'40s, '50s, '60s and '70s.

Wow!!! What a lineup! Is David Nathan a performer? I thought he was a journalist.
Wish they had one more great artist on
the bill--DEE DEE SHARP.
