Drip Drop..(Drifters??/ ClydeM)
Lonely Weatherman..J. Kelly and the Premiers
The Weatherman..Sister Sledge
Fact.. I have a friend in the biz who collects"Over the rainbow" records and to this date he has over 5000 versions.
Imagine the estate of Harold Arlen on that song alone.
Fact.. The scene with the song originally was edited out and on the "cutting room floor" during the editing of Wizard of Oz and only after needing a last minute time extension was it re inserted into the film.
Fact.. J. Frank Baum when writing the book, which was actually a re write after being turned down by his publisher, was stuck for a title. He had the wizard thing but he needed something catcht, so he scanned the room and there it was on his file cabinet..
A-G, H-N, O-Z OZ, yeah thats it, OZ !!!!
The Wizard Of OZ!!!!!
