Sure it wasn't Heart of a Child written by Marlin Greene & Bruce Gist. And if you heard it at a Northern Soul Do it's doubtful to be on a Cd yet. Check the Kent site.

Like a lot of Percy's material it has yet to turn up on CD. You'll need to find either the single
of "It Tears Me Up" ("Heart of A Child" is the b-side) or the "Warm And Tender Soul" album.

It's about time somebody did a set of CD twofers
of Percy's albums - there's too much stuff not
on CD.
