To anyone interested there are four Philly titles that were reissued on cd through the Epic/Legacy series. Wake Up Everybody by Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, The Manhattans, Ship Ahoy by the O'jays, and the Ebonys. All these cds are remastered and have bonus tracks. Arranger Bobby Martin does the liner notes on all four. Enjoy.

Bobby Martin did the liners! That alone is worth picking up the reissues!
Kudos to Sony/Legacy, PIR and Leo Sacks for FINALLY getting these CDs remastered and reissued.

I have the Japanese import of the Ebonys' album and the Collectables compilation. But I will definitely pick the new one up.
