This is Mike Terry's ex-wife, Barbara.
If you look at some "Pied Piper" 45s you can see the publishing credited to "Earlbarb" ... Barb= Barbara. Lorraine Chandlers' "What Can I Do" is one example.
She was on The Primettes (Supremes) first recording that was released on Lupine, titled "Tears of Sorrow."
And she once told me that she was in a group called Velvet Hammer, but I'm not sure if this is the 70's group that recorded a song called "Happy."
This 1960's photo shows her as the lead singer of a white Detroit group - who never recorded.

I think there's two groups called the Velvet
