I RECALL WHEN THIS RECORD CAME OUT IN 1967. THIS WAS A WHITE GROUP BUT BOY DO THEY EXUDE SOUL ON THIS RECORD. THE LEAD SINGER, GENE HUGHES CAN SING Y'ALL.
I WAS ALSO STRUCK BY THE SOUTHERN STYLE HORNS AND SOULFUL ORGAN RIFFS.

DOES ANYONE RECALL BEING SWEPT OFF THEIR FEET BY THIS RECORD BACK IN 1967. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THIS RECORD.

The organ solo on this Casinos classic is priceless (Ralph would agree) and the horn arrangement is one of my faves.

I didn't even know the Casinos were white until I saw the CD on Varese Sarabande a few years ago.

Doesn't matter what color - a good soul record is a good soul record.

Mickey Denton apparently joined the group a few months after ".. Goodbye" charted.

Mickey is,of course, a Detroiter who was one
of Harry Balk's artists.
