Fredrick 'Shorty' Long [Here Comes The Judge/Devil In The Blue Dress]

Is the shortest person that I can think of. William 'Mickey' Stevenson, a co-producer and writer once noted that his short legs barely reached the pedals on the piano, and that his stubby fingers could only play his own tunes well.

I worked with Stephanie Mills and she stands about 4'10" but was huge when she opened her mouth. Now there is a question. Why hasn't someone taken her into the studio and done a good old-fashioned R&B album with her? She still has the pipes and I believe the album would be a smash. Her catalogue of hits is played continually on R&B stations throughout the country.

Michael....Stephanie Mills truly has the pipes (and according to Arsenio..a "great onion" !) but I believe she became disenchanted with the music industry and just walked away from it. I know she does plays from time to time....but at last report she was in a happy marriage (as opposed to the 1st one) and just enjoying life.

I believe that Stephanie is in the Gospel field now.

My good friends Gabe and Annette Hardiman(nee of the First Choice) wrote her hit song I feel good all over produced in Philly by Nick Martinelli.
