I have often thought The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame underrepresented by blacks/randb and women. Then with our Timi Yuro discussion I got to thinking--what about her,Righteous Bros(in the 60s),maybe Dusty & Brenda Lee in Rand B Hall of Fame--what do u think?any other blue eyed soul people who could qualify?

I think Bonnie Bramlett from the 60's soul-rock duo Delaney and Bonnie could definitely qualify!
That woman can SING!

Laura Nyro, CHRIS CLARK, Billy Vera, The Skyliners, our very own Funk Brothers Bob Babbitt, Dennis Coffey, Joe Messina have to be included just as Steve Cropper and all the other great Memphis Group players must be included.

Mitch Ryder ABSOLUTELY FOR SURE belongs here!!!! I can remember him rehearsing down the block from where my family lived (Hull and State Fair) at the home of the band's drummer (Johnnie Badanjek) when they were performing as "Billy Lee & the Rivieras" (I was about 12 or 13 at the time). The tunes he became known for probably wouldn't be classified as R&B but his shows always included some soulful stuff...and that dude sure could SCREAM!!!! Still can far as know!!!!

Of course that Eli guy has soul. Has he been inducted into the R&B Hall of Fame. There has been so many soul projects at which he has been successful. Paulie, I'm happy to know you've got his back.
