"A Breathtaking, First Sight Soul Shaking, One Night Love Making, Next Day Heartbreaking Guy."
Early pressings of this 45 rpm record by the Supremes showed the full title on the label like this! William "Smokey" Robinson wrote the song.

hey Uptight after your post I'm not gonna even try.
It would be interesting to delve into some Polynesian music titles. I recall where even some of the singers names were in the range of several hundred syllables. Yeow!!!

The British Folk-Rock band Fairport Convention probably won the prize in 1970 for the longest song title, with:
"Sir B. McKenzie's Daughter's Lament for The 77th Mounted Lancers' Retreat From The Straits Of Loch Kombe In The Year Of Our Lord 1727, On The Laird Of Kinleakie"
Fortunately for British disc jockeys, it was a B-side!

2 come to mind, not at all soul related. Someone with a more esoteric record collection than mine can probably give the full titles......
....Ray Steven's "Jeremia Peabody's....Green and Purple Pills" and
Jan and Dean's "Cucamonga.....and Timing Society"
I couldn't quote the entire titles if I tried.

"Jeremia Peabody's Poly-unsaturated Quick Disolving Fast Acting Pleasant Tasting Green And Purple Pills" ( ! )
My older step brother had the "Ahab The Arab" LP when I was growing up. The only way I can remember the title is if I sing it to myself!
