"There Will Never Be Any Peace (Until God Is Seated At The Conference Table") by The Chi-Lites was released in April 1974 as Brunswick single 9-55512. It peaked at #8 on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart and #63 on the Hot 100. Lead singer Eugene Record wrote and produced the track and the arranger was Tom Tom Washington. It was included on the "Toby" album (Brunswick BL 754200). I believe it was recorded at Universal Recording at 46 E. Walton St. in Chicago with Bruce Swedien at the board. Brunswick was a rather small studio, so I'm somewhat sure it wasn't done there.

Nick Lowe did it on his album from 2002 "The Convincer." On a limited solo tour of America he bookended it with his "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace Love and Understanding," which he wrote 30 years ago as a member of Brinsley Schwartz and later produced a cover of by Elvis Costello and the Attractions
