I'm gonna write this in small because this is about as serious as I get,but when I see Johnny Mathis an Sinatra on the same page it reminds me of something i read where it stated that in his nightclub act Sinatra referred to Mathis as the Afican Queen, which is the most tastless thing i've ever heard one artist say about another, the book was his autobiography and even though it was{unauthorized}there have been too many other accounts of Frank being mean to others for it to be totally false,I think he's one of the greatest singers in American history so he didn't need those kinds of statements.

THANKS ALIJAYDU!!!...OZZIE OSBORNE AND CINDY LAUPER JUST MISSED THE CUT!!!...R&B...I GUESS THAT FRANK DID AND SAID WHAT FRANK WANTED TO SAY OR DO...AND HE COULD PLAY HIS FORM OF THE "RAT PACK" DOZENS WITH THE BEST OF THEM!!...I THINK THAT WE PROBABLY REFER TO HIS CLASS AS THE CLASS HE DISPLAYED AS RELATED TO HIS SINGING AND PERSONA...LARGER THAN LIFE...BUT IT'S TRUE THAT EGO AND BOOZE GOT HIM INTO MORE THAN A FEW SCRAPES!!!...STU

that's exactly how i feel stu. it was rumored
that elvis said unflattering things.if he
did that's a reflection on him as a person,not
artist. i can only comment on mr sinatra as
a singer because i didn't know him personally

From everything I've read about Frank Sinatra, class is something he totally lacked. The guy was rude to help in restaurants and bars, punched photographers, etc. When talking class you're talking the whole persona of someone, not just one aspect of the person.

I wasn't aware of those more unbecoming facets of Frank Sinatra's character. I've not read much on him, I should say. Well, onstage his elegance was engaging, but if I'm talking class all around, onstage or off, I think Jerry Butler wins out for me. He's a true gentleman and living legend.

NISH: YOU PROBABLY KNOW THAT I WOULD SECOND THE NOMINATION OF JERRY BUTLER...NOT JUST CLASS...BUT DIGNITY AND COMPASSION!!!...HEY ANGEL: THANKS FOR SECONDING MY TAKE ON SINATRA...BUT HE DID COME DOWN HARD ON PETER LAWFORD AFTER JFK CHANGED HIS PLANS TO HANG OUT AT FRANKS PALM SPRINGS PAD ON THE ADVICE OF JOE SR!!!...POOR PETER WAS JUST THE MESSENGER...BUT FRANK TOOK IT PERSONALLY...AND UNCEREMONIOUSLY BOOTED PETER FROM THE SCENE...AND POOR PETER SEEMED TO GO DOWNHILL FROM THAT POINT ON!!!...NO...YOU DIDN'T CROSS FRANK!!!...STU
