You guys will never believe this, but I was the one that originally found Gino Danelli in a little basement club in Greenwich Village over 30 years ago,& brought him to Detroit! We met on the street a couple of years ago. What an odd reunion that was! He used to do a great Tom Jones type. He could have been a super-star,but was difficult to handle back then. The Purple Gang,eh? Well,he always DID wish he was some kind of gangster. I'll have to check that out.

.....(fine print)along with the former lead singers of.....
Poor Dick Wagner. Guess the name doesn't carry as much weight as it used to.

Okay Steve. As I said,I was the one that brought him here from NY in 1970. Ask him. Back then h e WAS doing a similar act to Tom Jones. Not an imitation, just that kind of thing. Since he lived at my house & I was his first manager in the Detroit area,I just MIGHT know something about him. I don't know why you have to take offense at evrything I say,but I wish you'd quit. I guess you're the only authority here, right?
By the way,I'll be there in April.

Speaking of Dick Wagner, did anyone hear of his collapse at the Razzles Blues Blow Out in Waterford on Feb 9th? Poor guy just finished his first song and down he went, scared the crap out of everyone. He may still be in recovery from that one. Hope all is well with him.

Wow, I can't believe they'd put "former lead singer of the Frost" instead of "Dick Wagner"--the guy's a legend! Can play guitar a little, too.

Douglasm,
Not really sure, he collapsed on stage. As I understand he had bypass surgery about 8-10 prior to this appearance. Although, he was alert and stable when EMS wheeled him out.
