"Choo Choo Ch Boogie" Louis Jordan
"Happy Go Lucky Local", "Lightnin'", "Daybreak Express" by Duke Ellington.
"Honky Tonk Train" by Meade "Lux" Lewis is the classic boogie-woogie composition. Boogie-Woogie really is the rhythm of a train, the drive of a locomotive.

So many songs in American music, especially in Black culture, are train centered. Trains offer an opportunity, a chance to escape, the possibility of a better life somewhere else. This was markedly true during the Great Depression.

Just a piece of trivia if you're interested...
"Night Train" in fact is "Happy Go Lucky Local", retitled & recorded by ex-Ellington tenor man Jimmy Forrest. It was popular at strip joints (so I'm told)!

Back Up Train, Al Green first hit recording (I think). It was a song about a guy leaving his girl behind, then he thought about what they had between them, and he decided not to leave, so he asked the Conductor to back the train up and turn it around.
