I have taken my Pink Floyd albums of the rack and played them for the first time in a few years. I cannot believe how good their backup singers are. I know they aren't a soul band, but the backup singing is some of the best I have ever heard. Doris Troy, Clare Torry, Leslie Duncan, and Liza Strike are incedible.

If you ahave never really listened to them, just try the song called Great Gig in the Sky...just listen to it.Clare Torry pours her soul into it and it still send chills up my spine. It is soul, but with only moaning and no lyrics. It was voted in the top ten songs to make love to.

My high school buddies and I used to refer to "The Great Gig in the Sky" as "The Orgasm Song". We were an immature lot that deserved to be chastised for our poor attempts at humor, but I thought I'd share that despite my shame. :)

Regards,
Ken

That's OK Ken. Speaking on behalf of all the guys, we were all high school buddies at one time and remarkably similar I might add.
