Does anyone out there know if there is a CD of The Breakaways. They were a girl group from England. They sounded more like they were a product of Phil Spector! The song "That's How it Goes" blows me away. I got the 45 when I was a kid and I had no idea they were 3 white girls from England. Sounded more like the Shangri-las meet The Crystals. Is anyone familiar with them? I know one of the girls passed away a few years ago. I think they were originally part of the Vernon Girls.

There is a cd on the Vernon Girls but I am not sure about one on the Breakaways

Mick Patrick is a great Breakaways fan and is trying / has been trying to get a release on this girl group. I was with him when he bought some fabulous 8x10s of the group at a record fair in London. Hope he succeeds as they deserve to be heard.
