Does anyone know what happened to Fayette of The Three Degrees? I know she left the group maybe in the late 70's? Is she still singing? She put out an LP (solo), which I have on tape. "Leave a Light on in the Window" was pretty good. Does anyone remember that?

I saw Fayette at a dance in Philly June of '99 for a dj named Ali Hackett and she looked great.
I have her card somewhere and I should ring her up to let her know about SD.

Fayette left The Three Degrees in 1976 and was replaced by Helen Scott who started the group with her in 1963 on Swan Records. Fayette is sings in a church choir and works in the social work field. The only Degree she has had contact with is Helen Scott who is still in the group with Valerie Holiday and new member Cynthia Garrison. If there are any messages for her please post them and I will e-mail them to her.
