I remember the Motown 25 Anniversary TV show. It reminded me of the old Motown Revues. There was a lot of hype built around Michael's unveiling of the moon walk. But I was blown away when after a commercial break, there was Marvin Gaye tinkering at the keys kinda casually reminiscing and before you knew it, he was into Mother, Mother.... Wow! I have never found any recordings (or video) of that whole show. But even more importantly, I would love that portion with Marvin. In my opinion, his greatest moment.
True Motown in its purest form.
Does anyone know of those (Live in concert) recordings?

UncleWoody,
Man, I have to agree with you. I thought Marvin was the high point of the entire show.

Maybe Russ knows about the shirt. He did the sound for the show. In fact I believe he received an Emmy for his work on this.

Hello everyone,
UncleWoody: Try ebay. The Motown 25 VHS is a very popular item & seems to be coming up quite often these past few weeks.
Peace!
