I forget which version (45 or LP), but on "Pops, We Love You," Marvin Gaye sings: All the little children love you... And, of course, the children are heard singing along with the chorus. Shall we assume those were Pops' grandchildren?

Also: "Black Man" by Stevie Wonder. Children shout out the answers to American history questions.

Didn't Tevin Campbell not have a cut from Quincy's "Back on the block" album with a children' chorus in the background. I think it was entitled "Tomorrow a better day for you and me" or similar expressing this sentiment.

Maurice White used a children's chorus for "Miracles" from the "Powerlight" album.

I dont remember Children of the night having kids on it.

The Double Dutch Buss had been sampled on the new Missy Elliott song. At first Frankie Smith was not credited . I told him to get busy and get his lawyer on it. he is now credited.

I started to include "Children/Night" on this list. It's the sound of children playing before the song starts. I think it's an old needle drop sound effect from the 60s.

On "Double Dutch Bus," what is the language they are rapping? Is the language called Double Dutch? Or could they be speaking Dutch? Pig Latin maybe?I know Frankie Smith must have made it up, but how does one learn it and decipher the kids' rap segment?

I'm glad Frankie Smith is now credited for the samples on Missy's new record. I bought Smith's record upon its initial release, early 80s.
