Sister Sledge are all married and with families of their own and in some cases pursuing individual carrers. They sometimes regroup for special appearaances.
I had the pleasure of producing them in '76 with four chart records.
If you look in archives old there is a pic from the session and relative info.

Pointer Sisters are still performing together (they were on a Disco music special ABC-TV aired weeks ago).
Mavis Staples performs as a solo artist. Roebuck "Pops" Staples died a few years ago.
The Emotions still perform and tour on occaision.

One of the Jones girls passed away last year. I don't know if the other two still perform. The Emotions have their own web site, as does the Pointer Sisters, which updates their careers. Then, there's Sisters Love.....whatever became of them? The Paris Sisters broke up long ago and one lives in Paris. They also have a web site.

This thread makes me wonder what ever happened to Perri ? Those were some theee baddest sisters to ever stand in front a mic ! I'm aware of 1 (and maybe 2) albums from them...but they were just so versatile that (it seems) they were impossible to market properly.
Now...a few months ago I went to check out a friend performing in Redondo Beach, Ca. At the end of the set Wayne Vaughn (husband of Emotion Wanda & ex-Brothers Johnson keyboardist) jammed a bit...then 3 lovely young ladies came on, introducing themselves as "Related". Methinks they were Wanda's daughters & niece. Extraordinary harmony !! Look out for the 2nd coming of the "Hutchinson Sunbeams" !!

Perri also recorded "Feels So Good" for Spike Lee's film "Do The Right Thing."
Love to hear more about "Related"!

I'm not sure if this group would count, but I'll mention them anyway...
Love Unlimited - Glodean James, Linda James, and Diane Taylor. Glodean & Linda were not only sisters, they were twins!
Linda married in 1978 and eventually moved to Europe.
Diane died in the mid 80's.
Glodian married Barry White in the mid 1970s.
