Whatever happened to Hot Sauce (aka Rhonda Washington)? She is one of my favourite soulstresses - brilliant voice. Listen to her Volt recordings that were cut in Detroit. Also I run a BBC RADIO programme here in England and would love to do phone-in interviews with Detroit acts or any other acts (Bobby Eli - contact me)so you can reach me on chris.savory@bbc.co.uk. or on chris.savory@tinyworld.co.uk

Hi Chris,
Rhonda was originally from St. Louis - I believe
she returned there in the mid seventies and went
into the gospel field. If I remember correctly her
mother was gospel singer Gladys Battle - supposedly a cousin of Chuck Berry.

Re: My BBC Radio Programme - you can pick it upon Fridays - 7-9pm - on BBC Radio Shropshire, Stoke, Hereford and Worcester.
Lots of great R&B acts coming in. Little Anthony soon - Did you know his son died recently, but he'll be back to recording in the next week or so
