Marilyn Bond, co-author of The Birth of Detroit Sound is ill and in Providence Hospital in Southfield (room 639 bed 1). She will be there for several more days. Send her a card or drop her a line. I know that she would be glad to hear from you. She has always promoted Detroit artists and is one of the Legends of Detroit.

Marilyn - get well soon! Can I pick a copy of the book up in May when I visit Detroit. It will save the hassle of money orders and the like. That does not mean I cannot send you a 'virtual' cuddle from London, right now!! Let me know if you got it - got it??

I talked to Marilyn on the phone yesterday and she sounded better. She expects to be out of the hospital in a few days. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Hi Marilyn,
Hope your feeling better. My brother, Bob, turned me on to this website and I found you. What a pleasant surprise. I hope you remember the Pyramids. You were our fan club president. Would love to hear from you sometime to talk about the old days. My wife and I reside here in Myrtle Beach. When you feel better, drop us an email.
