Tuesday Afternoon - England
Hi All !
Does anyone have contact with NORMAN WHITFIELD to see if he will consider release of THE FOUR TOPS sessions thast he did a few years back, everyone who worked on it said they sounded great!
Why keep them in the "Vaults" Norman - it would be fantastic to hear New Material from THE FOUR TOPS and of course Your Production on them.
John

John, on one of the threads, Mr. Ashford came on line and replied to that same question of mine. He stated that he was called in to do some things on the tracks. He also stated that the album was great and he stated that he would talk to Mr. Whitfield about the album next time he talk to him. That's about all that I have on the "Four Tops 2000" album. I hope that Mr. Ashford comes through with some good news.

John, this is Mr. Ashford's reply to my question a few months ago (I was asking Deborah, Levi's daughter):
"Hi Deborah my name is jack ashford of the funk brothers . I just want to say that 3or4 years ago Norman Whitfield flew me to La to over dub percussion on a album of the four tops and It was a great album I don't know when Norman plans to do anything with it , but the guy's sounded great. Jack.ps. tell Levi hello for me. We go back a long way."

Thanks Aljaydu, it sounds so good, it will be such a waste if it just lides in the vaults!
Let's keep hoping - Thanks Once More
