I really dig this singer especially his ballads "Who Am I", "Your Wish is my command" and the dancer "You called me back". I guess you played on all these. What is Clyde up to these days? Give us some bio info if you may. What is Phil Hurtt doing these days.

Shortly after Clydes Atlantic 45's in the early / mid 70's he was invited to join the Drifter's (then UK based & having hits in Europe on Bell Records). He took up the invite and spent many years based in the UK.
Ironically at the time UK modern soul fans were getting into his uptempo cuts (such as "You Called Me Back") he was playing local UK cabaret clubs singing "Under The Boardwalk", etc.

Further to that, Clyde was also a member of Johnny Moore's short-lived Drifters splinter group, cheekily named "Slightly Adrift".

Dear Soulpuss,

Phil Hurtt is doing fine. Phil and his wife were at Thom Bell's birthday party. Phil is still producing records. He has been doing some gospel productions as well. I have known Phil longer than I've known Bobby Eli, and I've known Bobby since I'm 16. I've known Phil and his brother when they sang with the Mohicans.
