I agree Clay - Eminem is pretty tough.
Perhaps I should listen to at least one of his songs, so I can have an opinion on his singing. I wonder if he has seen SITSOM.

I agree with Bobby Eli, when it comes to live music, who gets booked when and where and recorded music that depends on airplay for success or failure, Clear Channel reigns, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, Eminem is probably the most powerful figure in music today. I guess that proves that garbage sells these days.

I think Clive Davis is when it comes to getting new artists and making them stars!! For example Alicia Keys and Ludicrous. I think when it comes to promotion hands down its Clear Channel unfortunately...

As far as rap is concerned I dont think Eminem is the biggest FORCE but he may be the biggest star right now.

Most powerful figure(s)- here's my list:
Record executive - Lyor Cohen (head of Island/Def Jam Records)
Recording artist - Norah Jones (I felt this way before her Grammy win...)
Media outlet - Clear Channel Communications (a monster too big to destroy...)

Kevin Goins - KevGo
