Are there any known references/recordings of this group?
I've been told that they sang background at Motown and were called The Gaytops after a brand of shampoo.

Hi John,
The group formed around 1961 and included Walter Jackson, C P Spencer, James Crawford, Dee Edwards and Louvain Demps. I was told that Diane Ross was in the group for a short time too.
