David and Lowell,
Another winning chapter of such a legendary Detrot company. It is truy amazing what was accomplished there in such a very short time.
Great work guys. extremely informative and thought provoking.

Ralph you are right. Quite breathtaking. The quality is second to none. Andre Williams looks different now. To think I saw him sing live on the very night you published GW-Part V. It's good to know he is still performing. I love all the pictures on GW.

Great work Lowell, and DMeikle.

David & Lowell;
Thanks again for another great chapter. That's especially a wonderful photo of Teresa Lindsay. I've bought many a book and magazine over the years in my quest for any tidbit of info I could find about this kind of stuff and now here it rolls out , chapter after chapter - one great webisode after another.
Thank You
Steve K

Guys, I just have to say how impressed I am with the latest instalment. (Lowell, the graphics are out of this world!) And to think, we can read it all here.... Headline News indeed.

Can anyone provide me with a discography of the Reflections on Golden World? I'm putting together a CD of that material and I need to know if I'm missing anything. My e-mail address is g_jamieson@hotmail.com.

Thank you!

Tremendous stuff!
Many thanks to David and Lowell for making it look as good as those GW 45s sound.
David - one point - Jim and Jack Holland were not part of The Hollidays that recorded for Golden World, it was a totally different group.

Great reading. The photos superb. It is great to read how all this unfolded. It must have been dynamite around the city in those days. Thank you both so much for helping me understand why I love this music so much and why it plays such an important part in my life and moreover, always will.

David and Lowell,

Along with Ralph's story, this webisode is ... no superlative can come near enough! This is what a love of Detroit soul music is all about! It's been said quite a few times on the site already but - Wow!

David & Lowell,
Once again, an excellent webisode well done.

I interviewed Andre Williams back in 1999 about his career & he had nothing but great things to say about Ed Wingate & Joanne Bratton.

Fasinating.
Lowell--David, between here and detroityes, I'm getting an education of the history of a city I thought I knew well. Keep up the good work.
