i know in the recording business everything
was not all peaches and cream. where there
ever any artists that was almost unbearable
to work with (egos etc)you don't have to call

Hi Fayette,
The Philly recording community in it's heyday was a closenit kind of vibe where everyone knew everybody and it was all "just plain folks" as far as we were all concerned.
As far as the way that the artists reacted outside of our environment I can't say but when they recorded or hung out with us it was always mutual respect.
Sometimes there was a friendly competition between the writers to"get the single" but it was only natural to want to get a hit on a major act.e
