The strangest and most happeningist thing has happened. When I play to my Motown tracks, I see the FUNKS in my head. I see them playing the sh_t! Like everything's put together proper, like it should be, like it was.

I see Mike Mclean hangin out over there watching the sessions, keepin the machines running. I see Ralph down the road at a rehearsal for some Rare Earth show. The Count is practicing vocals with his group. Clay and Bob and Ed and Dennis and hell, I see it!

My point is what the Film has done for me:
I will now forever envision the Snakepit when I hear the songs. I can 'see' the Faces, even the instruments. The Kustom amp.

When you hear any song, you usually have an image of the lead singer, or some band members. I never had that fully with Motown. I do now.
The Ophthalmologist, Mr. Slutsky has corrected my view.
