The Windows Media (Microsoft) site says that Digital Cinema Solutions will be handling the Digital release of SITSOM movie in Windows Media 9 format.

I have spoken to the some of the top guys in the Digital Cinema Standards committees and the Dolby guys and no one seems to know.
So...Who is Digital Cinema Solutions?

The version of SITSOM that they showed at the Apollo Theater was the Microsoft digitalized version ...I thought it was amazingly crisp-looking, with no flaws, although a woman who worked on the film (SITSOM) thought that the colors were too washed out, not saturated enough.

It sure was better than the flawed print I saw at a press showing at the Star Southfield -- very bad splicing job. The print I saw at the Uptown Palladium in B'ham was much better.
