Here's a listing of all the Harthon releases that
I'm aware of

424 LUTHER RANDOLPH & JOHNNY STYLES 1963
Crossroads PT. 1 / PT. 2
- also released nationally on Cameo 243, 06/63

427 JoANN JACKSON & THE DREAMS 1963
Georgie Porgie / The Mob

134 THE TWILIGHTS
It's Been So Long / She Put Me Down

135 THE TWILIGHTS
Shipwreck / For First Time
(also issued on Parkway 128, 1967)

136 BERNARD WILLIAMS AND THE BLUE NOTES
Needless To Say / Focussed On You

137 LEE GARRETT
I Can't Break The Habit / Baby, Please Don't Go

138 THE VOLCANOS
Gotta Be A False Alarm / Movin' and Groovin'

139 THE UNITED FOUR
She's Puttin' You On / Go On

140 THE PRELUDES
Deeper Than That / Shiggy Diggy

142 / 3 THE UNITED FOUR
Look At Her Now / One More Year

144/5 LEE GARRETT
I'm So Glad Pt. 1 / Pt. 2

146/7 THE VOLCANOS
Take Me Back Again / Aw Shucks

I'm not sure of the number for "I'm So Glad" but
it seems to fit chronologically.

141 is probably the other side of 140 as there was a change in the numbering system so that each side had a separate number.

There was an early subsidiary label called Priority which issued

321 TOMMY COOK AND THE FANTASTICS 1963
Dance Fever / It's All Over

322 IRMA AND THE LARKS 1963
Don't Cry / Without You Baby

I'll try to list the Harthon Productions leased
to other labels in a few days.

As usual additions / corrections are welcome

Nice one Davie,I didnt know focused on you came out on Harthon, the Bernard Williams track.Mind you it was an acetate when I first heard it,which was many moons ago.Shes putting you on,The United 4,what a stomper as with the Volcanoes, gotta be a false alarm.According to the great man himself,Mr.Weldon A.McDouga the 3rd,there was around 2/300 harthon sides. Now I dont know if he meant actual releases, actual artists or what, but suffice to say, certainly a hell of a lot more than what I would of ever imagined.I Must have around 20 Harthon releases and if I can get my head around getting into my collection will add to your in-put Davie. But would rather leave it to you after my total cock-up regards the Sabre/Saber label fiasco.Really nice to see some Harthon material on the sight, hats off to Davie.MEL.p.s.Its a shame, but quite a few of these were boot-legged around 1975/78 and I have a damn good idea where from and who from, but will not go any further as I dont want to create any kind of trouble.

Hi Davie & Mel. when I say 2/300 more or less records, that is how many we recorded altogether, some never came out, some were released to other companies, some will be coming out on grapevine records, Harthon was a record and production company, before Harthon there was MRS records.
