Dave,Just for starters she did a rare item on the Rare/Northern Soul Scene called If you Ever Walk Out Of My Life on the Inferno Record Label(2002).Was very big around the mid-70s and is still a hard item to obtain,especially as the bootlgs are very good.You have to know what your looking for as I know of a guy ,a Ex D.J. Who had one for up to a year or so thinking it was an original.Took ages to convince him in the end.Hope thats a starter,must go,I would assume that you will get plenty of feed back regards Dena.Cheers,MEL.

Her true name was Gardenia Barnes.

Tim Ashibende told me he came across her by accident on a visit to Detroit (possible 8 years ago).

If you ever see Tim I'm sure he'll give you more info.
