Being a terminal case when it comes to '60s nostalgia, I've enjoyed killing off some spare time looking through the old Keener Music Guides on the WKNR website (www.keener13.com). It's funny to see how many different times "Louie Louie" made it to number 1, throughout '63-'66. The Beatles never had a number one on WKNR after "I Feel Fine" up until "Hello Goodbye", yet there's "Louie Louie" at number 1 for weeks at a time, year after year. There's no place like Detroit.

I drive around town in my little white truck with a WKNR(and a W4 "Quad")bumper sticker and only three people have commented since I stuck it on in July. I guess no one remembers...
Anybody got an original WABX sticker for the cause?
