Hi, my good friend Soulaholic! First of all i'm ashamed because i see a post by you much later you've posted it, where you ask to me my e-mail (this got relation with William De Vaughn's "Be Thankful With What You Got"). Here is: mcdiseny@terra.es About Yellow Sunshine I only have this same title you comment. This is FUSION at his best. I only have this info of this group: "Yellow Sunshine were a instrumental progressive funk rock group formed by drummer Karl Chambers, his brother Roland, percussionist Lester Young and bass player Idrees Young. Roland Chambers has previously worked as music director for Marvin Gaye and Tammie Terrell. They later added keyboard player Dexter Wansel and sax man Ron Harding, but they one album "Yellow Sunshine" for PIR was not successful. Karl Chambers moved on to be drummer with MFSB, while Dexter Wansel became an influential musician/writer/producer at PIR" (from the book of the 14 x LP's box "The Philadelphia Story" by UK Streetsounds). Also in the 2 x CD "Grass Roots" (Danny Krivit, Strut Records), in the linner notes Danny tolds he needs 25 years for find the LP!! (previously he only have a 45 copie that was very in demand for various DJ's). Peace & Soul Food |
