I just wanted to wish everyone a happy & safe memorial day. Enjoy the barbeques, friends, & family.
Jimmy & I just got back from Atlanta last night, its raining here so we'll be resting up all day in bed :-).
Have a great day!

Hi, Jeanie. Happy Memorial Day. I hope you and Jimmy had a safe trip back from Atlanta. I had kind of a busy day myself. I went fishing with my mom and stepdad. It was pretty much an eventful day. I know I'll never forget this day. My mama said that she was gonna tell everyone what I did like when I went digging in the groung for live worms and touched them, put the bait on the hooks, and even touched a live fish while it was still flipping on the line. How many girls would do that stuff?

I think we caught about 12 fish. Most of them were bass. Alone I caught about 4 or 5 fish. I lost count after I caught the third one. This has been an exciting day.

Hi Dinelle;
We had a good trip, thanks, we'll post photos in a few days.

Sounds like you had a fun day Dinelle! I would hunt & hook worms too for fishing when I was about 9 or 10 years old, and I mean big worms that looked like a baby snake! Us girls can do just about anything a guy can do.:-)
What kind of fish did you catch for dinner?
S.S.

Hey Jeanie. Everyone's gonna love your photos.

I did have a fun day.

BTW, I never knew you could fish. And speaking of snakes, I saw near me while I was fishing. I was a little scared. My catch ended up getting away from me. And that was a footlong trout. Darn it!

You're right about girls doing anything a guy can. Not too many boys would let me play football on the school picnics. I just say to myself, "Hey. It's their loss. They're not worth my time." And I can play football. I'm a pretty good quarterback. Some boys will let me play though.

About the fish, we only caught a trout, a catfish, and the rest were bass. We didn't eat the fish. They were for my stepdad's aquarium. Most of the freshwater fish that we catch my mom and I give them to my stepdad and he keeps them as pets.
