I'm wondering if Martha Reeves' Fan Club President SHAWN, her most devoted fan has any info on how Martha Reeves is these days after she got bumped-off Motown 45!!
I haven't spoken with Martha but as you know I was all for having the ORIGINAL VANDELLAS on Motown 45 but after this ... I'm sure they are glad as well as I am that they didn't join Motown 45 as Martha and her sisters got the whammy!!
I guess it worked out pretty well for all the fans of THE ORIGINAL VANDELLAS and for the Vandellas themselfs only Martha and her Sisters felt the ole mighty HEAT WAVE!! |

Well Spookey since the M45 special was such a disaster Martha herself is glad she wasn't in the special .As far as the Original Vandellas and Martha I guess you'll have to ask her I know you call her every once in a while .Shawn |

This is Home To You remastered and repacked .The only Vandella on the cd are Martha and Lois as I was told Roz and Annette asked for too much money when Martha was making this cd so she couldn't use them .Shawn |

Martha should stop spending her money and leave Home To You alone!! -- My favorite is I Miss Your Company!!
Martha should recorded some new stuff; get that soul back that she's known for MY BABY LOVES ME style, LOVE MAKES ME DO FOOLISH THINGS style!!
Recording something like BABY I'M FOR REALS, Martha needs some real vintage soul and not classic rock and roll!! |
