It's Baxter. Besides being a great guitarist, he's also a defense analyst and consultant working for several US congressmen. |

Yes It Was Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Who would later join the Doobie Brothers. Jeff "Skunk" Baxter also played the solo on the Doobie Brothers cover of "Take Me In Your Arms(Rock Me)". Sean |

One of my favorite solos at the time. I called it the "hit or miss" solo and saw him play up close, 4th row when they toured to support Countdown. Steely Dan stopped touring soon after so that's why he left to join the Doobies. |
