Hey John, You know, you're absolutely right about the book. We've seen hundreds of books, even three books regarding individual artists & not one book for these tremendous gentlemen. I never even thought of that before. Their story has to be a great one & it would be nice to see a book soon! | ||

It is absolutely GREAT news!!! And, I'm sure Deborah will wander over here in a little while, but, she did indicate that the guys were very touched by the honor!!! Everyday is a "Four Tops Day" for me - I only play Four Tops CD's in my car and when I boot this computer, my start up music is Walk Away Renee (the alternate mix from the 50th Anniversary CD). And, I also agree with John Barry - what a fantastic time to release that new CD.....and a book - what the world could learn from a book about The Four Tops....maybe it could be required reading in school. They have been called many things, and in their humility, they refer to themselves as "blue collar workers in shiny jackets" - but, I love it when they are referred to as The Gentlemen of Soul. Congratulations to The Four Tops - and a very heartfelt Thank You to them for sharing their hearts and souls with us. | ||

Yes...I did attend Pershing High School Sis, and it makes me feel right proud...(smile) Not only did we give musicians to the world, but atheletes also/actors...right off the top of my head..Will Robinson was the High School Coach at that time at Pershing Glenn Doughty Ex-Baltimore Colts Ralph Simpson - Ex Denver Nuggets and also he's India Aries.
