Happy Birthday to Philip Michael Thomas, Pam Grier & Lenny Kravitz!!!!! Lenny is celebrating #40- Philip & Pam are the true GEMINI twins, both are celebrating #55, WHEW!!! Time has been good to the both of them. Anyone remember Pam guest starring on Miami Vice? I think that I will have to watch Sparkle today(Stix!!!) Actually, these two are muscially inclined, which I'm sure most of you know. I have both of Philip's albums and I have to say that the first one Living The Book Of My Life is very good(the second one is not bad, but the first one is better). This brother has a nice voice!!! I found out through reading, some years ago, that Pam sung back up for Bobby Womack, back in the day and I remember hearing her voice on the Jackie Brown SDTK-not too shabby herself.  | ||

Yes Dinelle, the PAM GRIER!!! She did background vocals on 2 Bobby Womack albums-Communication from '71 and Understanding '72 both on the UA label. I have read that she also has done back up for Lou Rawls and Sly Stone. For the movie buffs, and I have not seen this movie, The Big Dollhouse, which was her first movie about women in prison from '71 she sang the title song!!! The things you learn everyday Now I want to get the movie to hear the song! Juice, I will get back to you, I had forgotten which post you left the e-mail, but I found it. | ||
