Hello again, soulful family!

I can't stop to think in the sad departure of this great songwriter. As somebody have comment in another trhead, myself, the same day I noticed his dead, "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" sounded in the music background in the supermarket... Or at the home, in the radio ("Bad Luck", "Back Stabbers", everyday). But John Whitehead is not John Lenon!!! Nobody in the spanish medias made a simple comment.

This is my particular top-ten of tunes co-writen by John (in collaboration with Gene or with Gene and others as Carstarphen, Cohen, Huff, etc.)

1-"Wake Up Everybody" - Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
2-"Cold Cold World" - Teddy Pendergrass
3-"I Got The Love" - McFadden & Whitehead
4-"Prayin'" - Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
5-"Stay Together" - Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
6-"Standing Right Here" - Melba Moore
7-"Sunin' & Funin'" - MFSB
9-"Bumpin' Boogie" - Talk Of The Town (John, Gene and Lloyd Partks)
10-"If We Got The Will" - Talk Of The Town

Have you also your top ten (or top five) John songs?

Peace & Soul Food!
