All,

Ok - which are your fave "Kool & The Gang" numbers?

I just love this group soooooooo much - and I'm sure I've mentioned it before when I first joined this board. I mentioned that this was one group that could get me to dancing at home and once in awhile at a function.

There are many wonderful groups from the seventies that I loved - like Cameo - Commodores and the like - but IMO - Kool & them was the main one we could count on to make us want to "Jungle Boogie."

I just adored them.

My faves by them = "Ladies Night" - "She's Fresh (Exciting)" & "Hollywood Swinging." For shucks sake - I loved most of them. I absolutely adored "Summer Madness."

What's your faves?

I love Kool and the Gang too. However, I prefer their earlier work (pre-J.T.). The only albums I liked with J.T. were "Ladies Night" and "Something Special." My fave Kool and the Gang songs are: Funky Stuff, Love the Life You Live, Chocolate Buttermilk, Summer Madness, Hollywood Swinging, Take My Heart, Get Down on It, and Ladies Night.
