Hi Everyone.....i am a PHILLYSOUL FAN.....my favourites are THE THREE DEGREES,HAROLD MELVIN and BILLY PAUL.....Billy i met a few times, when he did the PHILADELPHIA TOUR in '89 and '92 which he did with the Degrees , Harold and the Trammps....
Billy Paul is very popular in Europe, like most of the Philadelphia international artists...but for mr Billy it is France that give it to him....i saw him not so long ago near LILLE in France...what a show! !
He also has a cd out on Warner France recorded live in Paris called "YOUR SONGS" and released in 2002.....a must for every Philly soul fan....and it's great to know that one of the musicians and co musical director is mr Dexter Wansel.....
I am so pleased that those people from the Philly label are still there for us....excellent |

Here I Am,
I have to agree with you regarding Mr. Billy Paul,
he is one of my favorite Philly artists as well. Billy is such a great singer, he is also a super nice guy.
If there were no musical instruments available, Billy would be one of the artists that could overcome that obstacle because he is such a great acappella singer. |
