Ironically, when my aunt, Vera Sanford recorded her LP, "Ten Minutes To Midnight" back in 1964, "An Affair To Remember" was one of the songs on it. The album was produced and arranged by Johnny Pate and recorded at Universal Recording. The album was released on the local independent Bombay label. Johnny produced her LP at the same time he was working with The Impressions and in between arranging gigs for Okeh Records as well. |

"Dark End of the Street" - not sure who had the original recording but this was redone on "The Commitments" soundtrack/movie.....Aretha did a version and Greg Allman did a version.....I think the Muscle Shoals musicians were on the original. Regards, Russ |
