Brenda Holloway-her talent keeps growing-she steals shows; Velvelettes-all together still and better than ever. Mary, Cindy and Diana(couldnt resist); GLADYS; Does Jimmy Ruffin still sound good? Down with ageism! (Message edited by luke on October 03, 2004) |

THE FOUR TOPS ALREADY HAVE A FINISHED CD READY FOR RELEASE PRDUCED BY THE AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER-PRODUCER, NORMAN WHITFIELD,IT'S THE LAST ONE WITH ALL THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS SINGING ON IT WHICH MAKES IT A INSTANT CLASSIC AND A COLLECTORS CD, AND IT'S GOT HIT WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. SHE COULDN'T GO WRONG ON THIS ONE, SO MY CHOICE WOULD BE THE FOUR TOPS |

The Four Tops, that's a great idea. I think Sylvia Rhone should re-sign the Temptations too. |

Give J.J. Barnes his chance that he deserved! Unless she feels acts like Willie Tyler and Lester are more marketable??? |

I think Sylvia would be smart to go back and sign all the artist that are trying to make a comeback from the 60's and 70's...the ones that could still sing and have a great show...great stage presence .like Blue Magic, Ray Goodman and Brown, Wil Hart's New Delfonics, Russell Thompkins New Stylistics, HAROLD Melvins' Bluenotes...Great Acts that still have record numbers in fans and great stage presence... |

She should change the name of the label. "Motown" should just be used for reissues. |
