Smokie Norful's new cd "Nothing Without You" will be in stores on Tuesday, Oct. 5. I attended the listening party last night and he performed a few songs and they were great. He stated that when asked how do you follow a song as powerful as "I Need You Now", his answer is, he's not trying to follow that. He was going through a serious trial when he wrote that song. He just want to write music that encourages and uplifts. Smokie will be performing tonight at Straight Gate Church in Detroit along with Rance Allen, Twinkie Clark, Kierra "KiKi" Sheard. ADMISSION IS FREE. |
