Hey Guys!
I'm just figuretively speaking!
Why not re-issue ALL of the Supremes lps even Funny Girl, Reflections for example and include tracks from the Hollywood Bowl (when Cindy first appeared). I'm sure there are other cuts in the vaults. IMO, it would make it a worthwhile buy, unless you're just a die-hard Supremes fan.
P.S.-I may buy this cd!

It would have been nice to have heard it from MOTOWN/Universal on the Motown Message Boards, before I first saw it at Amazon, it will be a good one!
Motown Select also promised us Live in Japan CD by the Supremes in September never available before except Japan, but no sign and tomorrow is the last Friday release date in September and no word from Motown/Universal?

No Mary or Flo leads, but the original lp included
"A Breath Taking Guy", which both have solo lines
on; another Smokey production called "Long Gone
Lover" which features both of them on solo spots,
particularly the ending which has Flo taking over
the lead and singing beautifully...
Great album; included all of these singles:
Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, Come See About
Me, When The Lovelight Starts..., A Breath Taking
Guy, and Run Run Run. Though when first issued
Baby Love and Come See had not been released as
singles yet. |
