Is this the same dude who was a member of Mille Jackson's mentored group "The Facts of Life".

Remember that smash hit "Sometimes" ?

I believe he had a couple of singles on Brunswick in the mid '60s. I'm not home now, so I can't look them up. I also remember him on another small East Coast label (but can't remember it).

He had one single on Brunswick (55295), "I Can't Help Myself"/"Pretty Little Brown Skin Girl". The A-side is a fairly well-known Northern soul record.

Carter also had a tune called "I'm a Lover" recorded for Brunswick, but this tune didn't see the light of day until its release on a UK Kent Northern soul comp.

Best,

Mark
